Should your dog be too frightened of the dryer, we will towel dry them as thoroughly as possible.

If your dog has sensitive skin, we use a hypoallergenic shampoo. Please note that these shampoos do not have a strong fragrance, so your pet may not have the usual fresh scent afterwards.

Although nail trimming is included in the grooming service, if the quick is too long, unfortunately we may not be able to trim the nails sufficiently as this could cause bleeding. If you have any questions regarding your pet's nails, we will be happy to provide further information.

Appointment times

Please note that, due to the nature of mobile grooming, we are unfortunately unable to provide exact appointment times. If you have prior commitments, please let us know in advance. We will confirm whether your appointment will be in the morning or afternoon when we send our booking confirmations the day before. We will also send you a message approximately one hour before our arrival.

Before we groom

The undersigned pet owner or authorised representative indemnifies Licks & Slobbers Mobile Grooming Spa, its owner and employees against any claim, loss or damage arising from any pre-existing medical, behavioural or physical condition of the above pet, whether known or unknown.

In the event of an emergency, I authorise Licks & Slobbers Mobile Grooming Spa to seek veterinary treatment if necessary.

I understand and agree that all veterinary costs, including consultation, treatment and medication, are for my own account.

For badly matted coats or a full coat strip, additional costs apply: small breeds R30, medium R50, large R80, giant R100.

Please note that all EFT payments must be made before your appointment, and proof of payment must be emailed to licksandsgrooming@gmail.com before our arrival.

Alternatively, we have card facilities available, and payment may be made by card on the day of your appointment.
